Computer-based exam at a Pearson VUE testing center
Generally Yes. But you always get confirmation of the session's date one week before the selected date, and based on that, communication is established with the registered participants.
Your aPHRi certification is valid for three years after testing. To maintain your aPHRi credential, you must earn 45 recertification credits over the three-year time span or retake the exam.
To be eligible for the aPHRi you must have a high school diploma or global equivalent. No HR experience is required since this is a knowledge-based credential.
There are no prerequisites for this course.
Yes, it is accredited from HRCI.
Yes. It’s supported by the HRDF, and to be eligible for compensation, you have to submit evidence of completion. Once you pass your HRCI certification, you will receive your certification digital badge via email to save as PDF and submit it as evidence to HRCI to proceed with your reimbursement by HRDF.
Yes, both options are available.
The exam is included for Live Online Training and optional for Self Study.

The exam is available in both English and Arabic.
Once you complete an exam, you will receive your results at the testing center. Within 24-48 hours, Pearson VUE will send an e-mail on how to view and print your official exam score report.
HRCI does not determine the passing score arbitrarily. They use the statistical Angoff method to decide how many questions you must answer correctly to pass the exam.
Second Chance Insurance (SCI) allows a candidate to pre-purchase the opportunity to retake the same exam type a second time if the candidate is unsuccessful the first attempt. The insurance must be purchased at the same time the exam application is submitted online.
An individual with an exam appointment at a Pearson VUE testing center may reschedule their exam appointment as long as it is done at least three days prior to the appointment. There is a rescheduling fee each time this is done. No refunds will be issued if unable to test on new date.
