About this Course

What You Get From Practicing

  • Find what to review: Questions across all eight domains show you which topics you know well and which ones you hesitate over. Note the questions you get wrong or find difficult, so you can focus your revision instead of starting every domain again.
  • Practice your pace: Answer 150 questions in 3 hours and see where your time goes. It helps you manage your pace in case the official CISSP® exam runs to 150 items.
  • Choose with less hesitation: When several answers look reasonable, focus on what the question asks, then compare the options. Three practice sets give you repeated chances to make that choice without getting stuck on one question.
  • Apply what you studied: Knowing a definition is different from choosing an action that considers risk or business needs. Use the review questions to practice applying what you have studied, not just recalling terms.
  • Judge your performance across sets: Compare your scores across all three practice sets instead of relying on one good attempt. If the same topics keep causing difficulty, review them before booking your exam.

Who This Is For

  • Security engineers and analysts whose day-to-day experience is concentrated in a few areas and who want practice across all eight domains.
  • Security architects and consultants who work with different systems and want to practice choosing the most appropriate decision for a question.
  • IT and information security managers who need to weigh risk and business requirements when answering security questions.
  • Candidates who have finished studying for CISSP® and want to complete a timed practice exam before booking the official exam.
  • Candidates preparing to retake CISSP® who want to revisit difficult topics and practice before their next attempt.

Exam Details

  • Simulators: 3 timed practice sets
  • Questions: 150 per set (450 in total). The official CISSP® exam contains 100–150 items
  • Scoring: All 150 questions are scored. Each correct answer earns 1 mark, and no marks are lost for wrong answers
  • Time: 180 minutes (3 hours) per set, also the maximum time allowed for the official exam
  • Pass mark: 70% in the simulator (105 correct answers out of 150). The official exam requires a score of 700 out of 1000, and the simulator percentage is not equivalent to that score
  • Format: 3 timed, computer-based practice sets. The official exam uses adaptive testing (CAT), where the questions change based on your answers. The simulator does not reproduce that process
  • Domains: All eight CISSP® domains: Security and Risk Management; Asset Security; Security Architecture and Engineering; Communication and Network Security; Identity and Access Management (IAM); Security Assessment and Testing; Security Operations; and Software Development Security
  • Questions source: Practice and review questions to help you apply the concepts you have studied, not questions taken from the official exam
  • Language: English. The simulator questions are in English

Course Inclusions

There are 3 timed practice sets, with 150 questions in each. Every set has a 3-hour time limit and is answered on screen.

Questions cover all eight domains: Security and Risk Management; Asset Security; Security Architecture and Engineering; Communication and Network Security; Identity and Access Management (IAM); Security Assessment and Testing; Security Operations; and Software Development Security.

When several answers look reasonable, focus on what the question asks, then compare the options. Three sets give you repeated chances to practice this.

Knowing a definition is different from choosing an action that fits the risk or the business need. Use the review questions to practice applying concepts, not only recalling terms.

Answer 150 questions in 3 hours and see where your time goes. This helps you plan your pace if the official CISSP® exam runs to 150 items.

Compare your scores across all three sets instead of relying on one good attempt. If the same topics keep causing trouble, review them before booking your exam. Note that the simulator percentage is not equivalent to the official 700 out of 1000 score, and the simulator does not reproduce the official adaptive testing.
